The rock meets girl duo creates a mix of throwback chick rock and new beats. It’s sure to mix up your hump day routine in a real way. Expect suspenders, sundresses and a possible Tullock sighting.

Girl haunt and general good time Gingers on 5th Avenue in Park Slope is a piece of Brooklyn’s queer roots. I’mFromDriftwood.com and The Lesbian Herstory Archives are holding a bangin’ fundraiser for only 10 bucks a queer. I.F.D. is a heading out onto the open road later this year and needs support. The Lesbian Herstory Archives is the church of all things dyke. It’s a veritable museum of queer history. There is a reverence in the air and the smell of musky old books and rich history is a real comfort. Tonight you have the chance to support both of these Brooklyn LGBT gems. Prizes, pictures and more. Get into it.

Expect Real World hottie and fitness expert Scott Herman whose online tutorials are a whole lot of fun. :::cough:::: FUN. As always 2 floors of dancing to DJ Scotty Rox and haircuts by stylist Lynsey! Plus, we’ll be there with some picture madness. It doesn’t get better? Yep it does! Tons of expensive raffle stuffs will be given away as part of this 1-year birthday shindig. L TRAIN: Reeling from the daylong success of SpankRocket a few weekends ago these boys just got their ducks in a row for another Soffita! Soffitta 70: Acido Bruciare with solid tunes, A.C. and still only 5 bones, duh. The serious beats of Ron Like Hell, Ryan Smith, and Cowboy Mark mean trouble and dance. The loft will take new shape with custom duck tape angles, as per usual. The crowd will be mixed early on and boy heavy after 1am. The space is set up for a blackout, just embrace it, enjoy the ride and hydrate.

Hit the island this afternoon for some cheap theater. Actor and theater artist Michael Hirstreet developed a personal story piece and one-man show called My Broken Brain. The fringe fest is always a hit or miss experience, but the comic stylings of this Rutgers Alum are a sure fire thing. My Broken Brain directed by Leah Benavides starts this afternoon at The Players Loft. Join Michael as he grapples break-ups, mommy issues, and more than a few literal hemorrhages.

An afternoon for hungry cyclists! Foodies will meet up and cycle through Brooklyn and into Queens as part of a hunt for great eats! Join BrooklynbyBike.com on a moderate ride from Grand Army’s Plaza Grand Arch to Flushing Queens. A tasting of street food carts all along Roosevelt Avenue. Food blogger Jeffery Orlick organized a tour recently and Joe DiStefano chronicled the adventure. The meet up points include a) under the arch at Grand Army at 11:30 or b) the corner of N12th and Berry St. by McCarren Park at noon. Look for the group of hungry bikers.
