A Very Messy Week!
Hope your Pride celebration was a total blast – we certainly had you running all over town! This week we've got some events paired with some pretty tragic celebs, who knew so many troubled weirdos were born all in a row like this? Our obvious favorite this week is the Queerespondence take over of Bar4 this Saturday so get into it! From Busey to Lohan we've got a pretty messy week. Get started with this week's where-to gay-genda. Don't toast these folks, they just need your prayers. See you on the other side!

BrooklynTheBorough.com has a round up of the best local beaches and guides to Ditmas Park, Gowanus, Bushwick and Red Hook for your perfect staycation. If you find yourself in Gownus, hit up Sunday Best at 400 Carroll (formerly BKLYN Yard) for a daytime dance party. At 9:20 the fireworks display will begin on the Hudson River, but Brooklyn has some good spots to catch the action at East River State Park (90 Kent Ave. between N. 13th and N. 14th streets in Williamsburg, no phone); Grand Ferry Park (Grand Street at River Street in Williamsburg); Transmitter Park (Greenpoint Avenue at West Street in Greenpoint, no phone); 69th Street Veterans Memorial Pier (Shore Road at Bay Ridge Avenue in Gravesend).
