Some Snark.

By No Comments thumbnail-6119

The birthday picks for this weekend are a little snarky. Their weapons are sarcasm, eye rolling and in some cases nose twitching.  After a hard days week there is nothing better than some thinly veiled judgment or a just raw snark delivered deadpan.  So go out with some favorites and dish this weekend in and around our fine borough! Get up, get down, and get into it!

The good people of, ready for it, Pussy Faggot are at it again!  This infamous party is one of the most establish/produced gay parties in NYC and its not to be missed. Earl Dax and The Delancy come together to celebrate 10 years of Big Art Group with installations, multimedia and dance chaos.  The many levels of this party begin at 8pm with a basement book flaming of Reading For Filth, a literary series where queer writers read about queer sex, featuring famed readers Iconic drag king Trans-Mister, hottie Chadwick Moore and others. Head up the stairs for a vodka happy hour hosted by East Village Boys with a performance by Baby Alpaca at 9pm. Over the course of this wild night there will be performances by comic Marga Gomez, adorable Brooklyn queer band The Fancy, and London’s Ex-GayCowBoy turned classic pianist Ezra Axelrod. Dance floor by Sean B. and Will AutoMagic of Spank and visuals by Charles Atlas and Niknaz.  $10 at the door, or $6 if you RSVP rsvp@pussyfaggot.net. Wear good underwear, chances are you’ll be dancing in them by the end of the night.
