However, there are a few people still seeing green, and all of these famous folks make bank. Head to all these amazing spots and order their finest vintage or their cheapest can and salute the filthy bloody rich!

The RUMOURS party is one I have had the fortune of having too good a time at. Last time I could be seen dropping it like it was hot and ordering my share of whiskey cokes.  Housed in the Loft above Public Assembly this party often seems like a really perfect, albeit out of hand, house party. The queer dance party is a personal favorite. For those who care its usual more girls than boys, however it’s a personal favorite thanks to great tunes, a great vibe and some really nice folks. The hopping scene includes 80’s, post-punk, italo disco and new wave thanks to DJ Tanner and DJ Marimacha.  Guest DJ’s SIRLINDA of the T.M.J parties and DJ JENNY O from Noho will both also present special sets. Video features by TINY FAVORITE will be screened. This Winters Solstice Edition is brought to you by the energy drink and way of like LEZO, check them out!

The Skittles Holiday Edition will surely makes Santa’s naughty list.  The aptly Rehab themed XMAS edition will leave you fending for more. DJ’s Lark and Jeffo will be throwing down wave of all types and some promised punk. MC Casey Spec will play ringmaster to queer-tastic guests Danger Tam, Talulah de Bayous, Commandante Lili Brigadera and roller girl Coco Agogo to name a few. Outpost Lounge plays host to this shin-dig every month and the scene is outlandish, hot, and honest. Grab a beer and watch the magic ensue. You’ll want to be there to stuff coal in their stockings!

Celebrity Birthday: Supermodel turned Producer and Modern Sally Jesse Raphael, Tyra Banks is making bank, weather we like it or not.

Drink of Choice: Applause

The Queers, Beers, and Rears party is one that seems to only get more out of hand, and in turn better and better. Housed in Ludlow’s own Cake Shop, the GOGO boys only get nastier, the drinks only get stronger, and the scene only gets wilder. Even though its in the city, a bunch of Brooklyn boys will roll up for this installment, which will no bout escalate to madness and perfection.  MKNG FRNDZ and RAD PONY perform/ get in your face. DJ Luiza of CSS and resident DJ’s SIR LOINS (also seen at Denim Shorts) A.MARTINI and GO-KARFF will spin punk, homocore, and all things dance.  The Rock-n-Roll Gogo’s Max, Nic, and Lusty J will put on a show while you get started with free booze from 11-midnight. With $5 beers all night and $1 beer starting at 2am looks like a late night or an early morning. So weather you are a voyeur or an active participant tonight will not disappoint.

Celebrity Birthday: Rich doesn’t begin to describe the Walt Disney estate. Disney is sadly now a way of life.

Drink of Choice: A nice Sangria

Chauncey D’s Nightmare Before Christmas Edition of his monthly Beetlejuice will hit the famed dance floor of Nowhere. This unique shin-dig promises nostalgia Lisa Lisa, Debbie, Janet (Some Velvet Rope, no doubt!), and Whitney to name a few. All tunes you secretly listen to or just lost your tape of will make the dance floor a time travel machine for late 80s early 90s.  Nowhere is the kind of divey that puts you at ease and the scene is usually pretty relaxed. Also Chauncey, of Daddy and Hug’s, is pretty hot, so roll up just to cruise if you’d like. I just may!

Celebrity Birthday: Retired First Baseman Tino Martinez played for the Mariners, the Cardinals and the Yankees.

Drink of Choice: A Highball

12.7|Monday

Movie Mondays anyone? BAM in Fort Green is screening a series of Tennessee Williams film adaptations and Boom is a prefect fit for a lazy Monday afternoon. For all you freelancers and baristas we’ve sometime got a free afternoon and this serio-drama is the perfect escape. A solid performance by Liz Taylor as a former socialite now addict is chalk full of eye catching sets and heartfelt moments; It’s a stage to screen adaptation by Williams himself of his own play The Milk Train Doesn’t Stop Here Anymore. Richard Burton and Noel Coward help to make this stylistic and stylish departure from what might otherwise be a dreary day. Screenings at 4:30 and 9:30pm so don’t miss it!

Celebrity(?) Birthday: Andrew J. Howard 39 the little known Elvis Impersonator is an exception to the rule and is quite simply, rich at heart. Thank you Andrew for your honest and earned “Hubba, Hubbas."

Drink of Choice: An Elvis (Amaretto, Lime Juice, Southern Comfort (duh) and Triple Sec)

Nerd-Alert! The Secret Science Club in the Slope’s nearly secret hangout Bell House comes together once (sometimes twice) a month for meeting of the minds. Lectures by powerful brains and cheap beer make for a perfect marriage. The revenge is free and nerds from all walks of like will come to notate Visual Neuroscientist Ben Backus at 8pm.  The topic is vision, and it’s bound to blow your mind. Ben B. of SUNY will discuss how we store visual impute and about perception, emotions, and optical illusions. An impressive first date idea and all together informed good time if you don’t mind feeling a little dumb for close to an hour I certainly don’t! And don’t forget, it’s a secret! Sssshhh!

Celebrity Birthday: Come back kid Teri Hatcher went from Louis Lane, to obscurity, and now relishes suburban life.
