The artist’s most recent work, showcasing intuitively gestural, mixed-media paintings curated by Walker Waugh.
 
 
GOWANUS / PARK SLOPE

The producer/artist/sculptor’s solo show features three forms of his work: paper collage, steel sculpture, and matchboxes.
 
 
WILLIAMSBURG
 
Opening Reception: Friday, December 11, 6-9pm
 
Curated by Hilary Doyle & Reid Hitta, this group exhibition of abstract works feature artists Peter Acheson, Nora Griffin, Chris Martin, Anna Rosen, Rachel Salamone, and Maria Walker. The artists all share a hands-on approach to their materials, while each artist offers their own unique and playful reinterpretation of abstraction.

Sisters Ruth Avra and Dana Lynn Kleinman, aka KX2, bring us the latest evolution of their three-dimensional and hand-sanded metal constructions and painting work.

An exhibition spotlighting the separate works of the two artists, both of whom explore light and color in a different way, starting from similar beginnings but ending at excitingly dissimilar points.
 
 
BUSHWICK
Opening Reception: Saturday, December 12, 7-9pm
 
The Bushwick loft space’s “one night stand show” featuring five paintings from five artists: Noam Rappaport, Kaveri Nair, Lauren Luloff, Rosy Keyser, and Todd Bourret. The work emphasizes process, object-ness, and material facts over narrative, image, and reference.
